What is Sonic Reality? Sonic Reality is a Media company that uses special technology called Binaural recording and Spatial sound to create the illusion of 3 dimensions or an environment when heard through On-Ear headphones. We specialize in audio content but soon hope to branch out into other forms of virtual reality entertainment soon through collaborations with some of our partners.
How do I play Sonic Reality? Playing is easy! Simply visit our Entertainment page and select the experience that you would like to hear. Make sure your headphones are on and press the "play" triangle icon in the corner of the image. Voila!
Do I need Soundcloud to listen to Sonic Reality? Of course not! all of our tracks can be accessed through our website regardless if you are signed into Soundcloud or not. If you have a Soundcloud subscription feel free to follow us for easier access and updates.
Why do I need headphones? The technology allows us to record space in 3 dimensions but the playback only works if you are wearing headphones. Headphones allow the sound to "surround you" thereby creating a virtual experience.
What kind of headphones do I need? Any headphones (including earbuds) will work, but for the best experience we recommend On-Ear Headphones so that you can hear the totality of the environment. This includes sounds hidden deep in the mix for more attentive audience members.
Can I download the tracks? Unfortunately you cannot currently download any of our sound experiences but stay tuned as we will make some experiences available for purchase in the near future.
How much does it cost? All of our sonic experiences are totally FREE! However it does cost money to keep our team motivated and our site running properly.
